I recreated that feeling of southern hospitality by showing my staff how good it feels to treat all our guests as if they are family. That they feel this is their place and they are cherished here. IĪlso want to be sure we build real relationships with our locals, that we know more about them than just their order. I want to make sure those tourists remember their incredible experience, tell their friends about us, like us on Facebook, Tweet, Instagram and Yelp about us- then come back to see us again on their next trip to Seattle. Any business that is as close to Pike Place Market as us is sure to have a flood of tourists When I bought the caff I vowed that no customer would ever enter my business and feel the “Seattle Freeze” like I did when I first moved here. But I don’t think that’s the biggest reason for our success. It’s not fancy, but it’s homemade, filling and well-priced. Unpretentious, no-frill, funny spot to have a really good comfort food! Even though we waited almost one hour in line, but I think it was shorter than normal wait.A note from the Head Bitch in Charge, Kimmie Spice It was a perfect comfort food, packed with flavor and super filling. I was told it will take about 15-20 min for the order to come out. The music was kind of loud, which can make it a bit harder to hear when they call out your name. You can also take them to go, but you have to wait outside until the order is ready. The décor was all fun and bit crazy.Īfter you put in an order, you have to either find a seat or go outside until a table become available. They had complimentary water, placed right by the register. A staff greeted me with casual “What’s up?” Really bubbly, informal, and friendly. When I finally got to the register, it was little less than one hour of wait in total. Again, not enough for their popularity and super high demand. They had a small room to the right, and larger space to the left. They had a fun STOP sign right there, asking customers to leave enough space between the register and the line, so that people and staff can walk around. Not to the ordering counter just yet, but it was a relief to see how close we are to ordering our food. For business hours, it had a posting that says “Bitch, when you open?” And for hiring status, it says “Bitches be hirin’!”Ībout 30 minutes later, we finally got to the entrance. They had some fun postings on their window, making us chuckle. They had a few outdoor seating, but not enough, obviously. It was a holiday, thinking that they won’t have much of a line… But I was so wrong! They had a long line of hungry customers! But here at Biscuit Bitch, they are all about “Trailer Park to Table: Southern Inspired Fixin’s and Kickass Espresso.” Intrigued? They have three locations in Seattle, and we visited one at Belltown. Nowadays, “farm-to-table” is all the rage. ![]()
